Terms of Use
Last updated: 6 July 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VowToDo mobile app and related websites (together, the “Service”), operated by an individual based in Singapore (“VowToDo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
VowToDo is a collaborative wedding and event planning tool that lets you manage tasks, budgets, guest lists, announcements, and guest RSVPs. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or violates others’ rights;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or circumvent its security or access controls;
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service (such as your events, tasks, and guest lists). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the right to provide it.
6. Guest information and RSVPs
When you add information about guests or share RSVP links, you confirm that you have an appropriate basis to use that information and will use the Service’s guest features only for planning your event. RSVP links use unguessable tokens rather than logins; you are responsible for sharing them only with intended guests. See our Privacy Policy for how guest data is handled.
7. Subscriptions and payments
VowToDo offers optional premium access through the following in-app purchases, which are sold and processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play:
- Monthly subscription — per month, including a 7-day free trial.
- Annual subscription — per year, including a 7-day free trial.
- Lifetime access — , a one-time purchase that does not renew.
In other countries, prices are shown in your local currency and are set by the app store at the time of purchase; they may vary by region and change over time.
Free trials. The monthly and annual plans include a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription and the applicable fee is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
Managing and cancelling. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Payments are handled by the app store and are non-refundable except where required by law or by the app store’s own policies. Refund requests are handled by the relevant app store.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including Supabase, Cloudflare, Expo, and the app stores). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or terms of those third parties.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that data will not be lost. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important information.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VowToDo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or SGD 100.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in relation to any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
